Anthony Kaufman, the Executive Vice-President of International Operations of Princess Cruises was proud to introduce the Michelin-star chef restaurants, La Mer and Harmony on board as his favourite feature of the cruise. Helmed by three Michelin-starred chef, Emmanuel Renault, La Mer offers French cuisine with a modern twist. La Mer stretches around the side of the ship, offering an unrivalled view of the sea as guests dine in the marble adorned decor. Harmony Restaurant, a specialty restaurant, offers Cantonese dishes designed by one Michelin-starred chef Richard Chen who seeks to redefine the Chinese luxury dining experience.
The SeaWalk
First of its kind at sea, the SeaWalk is a 60 feet (18 m) glass walkway cantilevered 128 feet (39 m) above the waves. Constructed as a 28 feet (8.5 m) extension of the ship, viewers are essentially hovering over the edge with breathtaking views of the rushing waves through glass floors. Providing a thrilling yet breathtaking view of the sea, the SeaWalk allows one to view the seas from an unforgettable perspective.
Movies Under the Stars
Ever thought of viewing the most popular blockbusters from Hollywood and the Chinese cinematic scene under a blanket of stars as the ocean wind gently blows? Movies Under the Stars is the prime choice for you as it is the largest outdoor screen among all the cruises at sea, providing you with a unique outdoor cinema experience. Special cushioned deck chairs are set up in the evenings as freshly-popped popcorn specially made in-house are served to the guests.
Sing on the Sea Karaoke
Boasting six private karaoke suites with a different theme for each room, Sing on the Sea Karaoke allows guests to belt out the latest popular hits from Europe, China and the United States to their heart's content. Each private suite accommodates up to 6 people, making it a prime family night out at sea. The top notch audio and video system, comfortable couches, and food and beverages services heighten the singing experience at the sea.
Hollywood Pool Club
In the day, the Hollywood Pool Club is an indoor pool for people to lounge in a Hollywood-chic environment. Surrounded by loungers, modern sculptures and topiaries, the indoor freshwater pool and steaming hot tubs provides languid respite for guests to rest and relax. Sheltered by the glass dome roof, the Hollywood Pool Club is always kept at an ideal temperature, no matter the weather outside. However, when night falls, the pool lives up to its name as a club. The indoor pool area is transformed into a luxurious nightclub, with a top-quality sound system and atmospheric lighting.
